Dennis Muthui lectures in the School of Computing and Informatics at KCA University, teaching across the PTTI and diploma programmes, and is a PhD candidate in Information Systems at the same institution. He also teaches at Kiriri Women's University of Science and Technology and Computer Pride Ltd.

Outside the classroom he runs DennisCreatives Data Solutions Ltd, designing and hosting production software for hospitals, hotels, schools, chamas and small businesses across Kenya.
